For Strategic Plan Facilitation to assist the village in developing it first Strategic Plan. Village seeks to procure the services of a professional Strategic Plan Facilitator(s) capable of facilitating and leading the strategic plan process for the Salem Lakes Village Board. The scope of work will include: Facilitated meetings with the Village Board and/or staff (expected 3-6 meetings at four hours each) that leverages effective strategic plan facilitation methodologies and best practices; The facilitator shall recommend a process for achieving consensus, prioritization/ranking of Board priorities. A facilitated discussion with the Board to obtain Board Members input into the mission, vision and values. A facilitated discussion to develop strategic goals, strategies and actions; Obtain input on specific projects and outcomes the Village Board desires to be accomplished in the four-year period including identifying measurements, milestones and/or performance indicators that measure the Villages progress; Share/present data, metrics, input, or relevant information from internal and external sources/audiences with the Board that would be of value during the strategic plan process. The facilitator shall create an environment that allows members to explore and discuss ideas in a fair, respectful and balanced manner. Develop a draft strategic plan document that adequately reflects the input, deliberations and decisions of the group and present to Board at a retreat for final changes/refinement. Develop a final Strategic Plan document and any other materials identified and agreed upon during the planning process. Village reserves the right to reject any or all offers, in whole or in part, received in response to this RFP at any time prior to the execution of a written contract The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
