Reference Number 0000373459 Job Location: Varies Bid Intent: Not Available a. Reline approximately 936 feet of 8" clay sanitary sewer line, 1670 feet of 12" clay sanitary sewer lines, 80 feet of 12" corrugated metal stormwater pipeline, and 275 feet of 24" corrugated metal stormwater pipeline with a fiberglass ultraviolet or steam cured-in-place pipelining with minimal reduction of the inside diameter. Preparation of the pipeline will be done prior to lining including cleaning, removal of foreign material, root cutting, and any grinding of intruding taps or joint offsets to reinstate as much of the inside diameter as possible without damage to the pipe structure. b. Reinstate approximately 30 existing 4"and/or 6" sanitary sewer service connections to the main post lining. c. A pre and post inspection will be required to verify a proper seal of the liner and re-establishing sanitary service connections. d. All repairs will need to be trenchless, as the existing lines may be inaccessible and in areas with limited to no excavation access. e. Temporary sewer service/bypass shall be provided to residential homes and businesses during construction as needed, potentially including the acquisition and implementation of portable restrooms. Proposed procedures for providing temporary service to all affected customers, and proposed notification procedures for shutdowns, conversions to/from temporary sewer service, and emergencies must be included as part of this submittal. f. Must provide traffic control for the impacted residential area, including job site protection and advanced notice when working near streets if necessary. g. For unforeseen sewer services encountered, the Contractor shall notify the Town Representative immediately Question Deadline 02/17/2025 at 5:00 PM MT Questions are submitted online No, No questions received after this deadline will be answered unless the bid date is extended by an addendum. Notice to Proceed Date for procurement/construction is anticipated follow the Notice of Award (NOA) of March 7th, 2025. The project shall be substantially complete by September 6th ,2025 and finally complete by September 15, 2025. A variable start date may be negotiated, as defined in Specification 01 10 00. Buyer Preferences, Guidelines & Requirements General Requirements - Insurance Required Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % - Performance Bond 100 % - Surety Bond 100 % - Payment Bond 100 % Each Bidder shall file with the Bid, an acceptable Bid Security in the form of a cashier's check, certified check or a bidder's bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Bidder to whom a Contract is awarded will be required to furnish a Performance Bond guaranteeing faithful performance and a Labor and Material Payment Bond guaranteeing payment of all debts arising out of the Work. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to review and consider the bid alternates (if any), to waive any informalities or irregularities therein, and to reject nonconforming, non-responsive, or conditional bids. The decision of the Owner shall be final.
