All temporary patches to be replaced with permanent patches shall be marked by the City Inspector. Contractor shall supply spray paint for marking patch size. 2) 3) 4) 5) 6) 7) 8) 9) 10) The City Inspector sha l give to the Contractor a list or lists of locations to be repaired. The Contractor shall start replacing patches on April 14, 2025. The Contractor shall continue to replace patches until the initial list provided by the City is completed. The Contractor sha l then be given a list on the first of each month of patches to be replaced. Within two (2) days of receiving the list the Contractor shall start replacing the temporary patches with permanent patches and shall continue working until the monthly list is completed. The average patch size is twelve-feet by ten-feet (12' x 12') square. However, the actual patch size shall be determined by the City Inspector. All temporary patches shall be repaired with permanent patches on the same day the temporary patch is excavated. No work shall be performed before 7:00 a.m., or after 6:00 p.m. All excavation for patches shall have full depth saw cut edges. The sub-grade in all excavated patches shall be compacted. The costs for saw cutting and compaction shall be included in the unit price bid for excavation. All edges between the new patches and the existing asphalt shall be sealed with Asphalt Cement. The unit price bid for 448 TYPE 1 Surface Course shall include the Asphalt Cement Sealer. The permanent asphalt patches shall be six-inches (6") of 301 Bituminous Asphalt Base topped with one-inch (1") of 448 TYPE 1 Surface Course. The concrete pavement, embossed concrete and/or curb item shal be used only at the direction of the City Inspector. All concrete except embossed concrete shall be Class MS. Street pavement shall be eight-inches (8") thick. Drive approach pavement shall be six-inches (6") thick. Sidewalk and embossed concrete shall be four-inches (4") thick. Embossed concrete shall be Class 'C' concrete with integral color. The color shall be Increte Systems Brick Red # 5229 or approved equal. The release agent shall be Increte Systems Dark Grey or approved equal. The pattern stamp shall be Increte Systems Weave Brick pattern or approved equal. Curb shal match existing curb. Any down spout replacement and or hook ups shall be included in the price of the curb. All concrete replacement and curb replacement is paid in linear feet. All concrete shall be poured within 24 hours of excavation. All permanent patch repairs shall be completed by November 3, 2025.
