Site work for a water / sewer project in Bangor, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project generally consists of upgrades to the existing systems throughout the WWTP. Bids must be accompanied by a certied check or bid bond issued by a Surety licensed to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in the amount of at least 10 percent (10%) of the total bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a Satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond and Labor and Material Bond in an amount of 100% of the contract amount. A Certicate of Insurance, showing proof of Workers Compensation Coverage, must also be submitted. The project will require minimum wages and salaries to meet the PA Prevailing Wage requirements. The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, national origin, or handicap. Bangor Borough Sewer Authority reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any informalities, or take such other action that may deem to be in the best interest of the Authority and as may be permitted by law. Bids may be held by the Authority for a period of 45 days from date of Bid opening for the purpose of reviewing Bids and investigating qualications of bidders, prior to awarding Contract.
