Work includes gutter milling, leveling course, overlay and ADA ramps. All bidders shall be PennDOT pre-qualified and all materials shall be PennDOT approved. Each bidder is required to bid on the total project. All quantities listed are approximate. Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $825.00 per calendar day. This project is funded partially by a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) provided by the Northampton County Department of Community and Economic Development. As such, all Contractors and Subcontractors are required to pay Davis-Bacon wage rates, comply with the equal opportunity and other regulations within the bid documents as well as submit all forms and certifications requested by and cooperate fully with all representatives of the funding agency, the Engineer and the Owner. Bidders must submit documentary evidence of Minority and Women Business Enterprises I Section 3 Enterprises (MBE/WBE/Section 3) that have been contacted and to whom commitments have been made. Documentation of such solicitations and commitments shall be submitted concurrently with the bid. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check made payable to "Bangor Borough" in the amount of 10% of the total bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder shall provide a performance bond or certified check to the municipality in the amount of 100% of the contract within 20 days after the contract is awarded. The municipality reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any defects, errors, omissions, mistakes, irregularities, informalities, or technicalities in any bid. All bids shall be irrevocable for sixty (60) days after the bid opening date.
