Site work for a water / sewer project in Bangor, Pennsylvania. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of 4/8/2026 the project has been postponed. Sealed proposals will be received electronically via the Pennbid Program for the Bangor Borough N. Main Street Storm Sewer project. Specifications and bid forms are available on Pennbid. Proposals must be submitted electronically on Pennbid, with each bidder required to bid on the entire project. All listed quantities are approximate. Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $825.00 per calendar day. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check made payable to "Bangor Borough" in the amount of 10% of the total bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder must provide a performance bond or certified check to the municipality in the amount of 100% of the contract within 20 days after the contract is awarded. The municipality reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any defects, errors, omissions, mistakes, irregularities, informalities, or technicalities in any bid. All bids must be irrevocable for sixty (60) days after the bid opening date. All Bidders are invited to attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting at Bangor Borough Hall.
