Street Improvement Project Hartford Avenue - Little Ln-Fairview Street Improvement Project Concrete Pavement Reconstruction Hartford Avenue - Little Lane to Fairview Avenue Furnishing all tools, materials and labor and performing the work necessary to reconstruct approximately 682 square yards of existing 7-inch concrete pavement patches along Hartford Avenue from Little Lane to Fairview Avenue. Work includes approximately 682 square yards of 8- inch type A aggregate base, 985 square yards of geotextile reinforcement, 24 square yards of 4- inch concrete sidewalk and 30 linear feet of concrete curb and gutter. Bids shall be made in accordance with the plans, specifications, and other bidding documents which are on file and available for examination at the Office of the City Clerk of Ponca City, Oklahoma. No partial sets will be issued and no refund will be provided for sets that may be returned. The successful bidder shall submit Certification of Insurance for Public Liability and Workers Compensation in the amounts prescribed by Statute with the City of Ponca City named as additional insured. Bids filed as provided herein shall be publicly opened on the above-mentioned time, date and place. All bids shall remain on file at least forty-eight (48) hours thereafter before a contract shall be made and entered into thereon. Bids received more than ninety-six (96) hours, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, before the time set for the opening of bids, as well as bids received after the time set for opening of bids, shall not be considered and will be returned unopened. All bids submitted must include the word "BID", the name of the bid item or project, and the time and date of the bid opening on the face of the sealed envelope. A cashier's check, a certified check or a security bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall accompany the sealed proposal of each bidder.
