The project will consist of mitigating hazards and environmental degradation associated with underground coal mining. The work site is adjacent to the City of Glenrock, WY off of Highway 87, and designated as AML Project 17.6D-Glenrock-9, Area C Drilling and Grouting Project. This project is funded in whole or in part with a grant from the Department of Interior, CFDA 15.252 or the U.S. Department of Interior, CFDA 15.236. The work on this project is anticipated to begin in Early April, 2025. The Contract duration will be two hundred-ten (210) calendar days. Each bid is required to have a bid deposit in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid. The Bid Bond may be in the form of an electronic bid bond with Surety 2000, may be a scanned and uploaded copy of an original Bid Bond certificate, or may be submitted in the form of an original paper document. Acceptable paper originals include a cashier's check, or certified check drawn on a reliable bank and made payable to the State of Wyoming (no personal checks will be accepted), in the form of an original bid bond, (copy, fax, email, or upload of checks will not be accepted). A Bid Bond is retained ONLY if the bidder should be awarded the contract, and will be retained until a 100% Performance and Payment Bond is provided. If paper documents are used, the Bid Bond must be in possession of Wyoming State Construction Department prior to the Bid Opening. The State of Wyoming shall have the power to reject any and all bids or waive any informality in same.
