Carson High School AHU Replacement Project The scope of this project includes the removal and replacement of eleven air handling units and the installation of eleven new variable air volume boxes at Carson High School (CHS). Completion of this project is to be done over the 2025 summer break, with construction beginning June 6, 2025 and concluding August 7, 2025. Due to extended lead times for major pieces of equipment, all new air handlers have been previously procured by McKinstry. The Estimated Construction Cost is $7,100,000. Prevailing Wages must be paid on this project. See requirements regarding prevailing wage reporting in Nevada Revised Statutes (NRS) Section 338.070. ** pre bid info : Major subcontractors are strongly encouraged to attend, although major subcontractors' attendance is not required. A representative from each potential Prime Contractor (Bidders) must be in attendance, sign-in, and remain for the duration of the job walk, to be eligible to bid.
