Barton County is seeking bids from qualified contractors for the painting of centerline and edge line markings on approximately 96 miles of blacktop roads. Question Deadline 02/12/2025 Questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents shall be directed to Engineer. description of project Now, Therefore: If Obligee shall reject said Bid; or if Obligee shall accept said Bid and Principal shall enter into said Agreement with Obligee in accordance with the terms of said Bid and give such Bond(s) as may be specified in the Bidding Documents with good and sufficient surety for the faithful performance of said Agreement and for the prompt payment of labor and material furnished in the prosecution thereof; or in the event of the failure of Principal to enter into said Agreement and give such Bond(s), if Principal shall pay to Obligee the difference, not to exceed the penalty hereof, between the amount specified and such larger amount for which Obligee may in good faith contract with another party to perform the work covered by said Bid; then this obligation shall be null and void, otherwise to remain in full force and effect.
