Renovation of a theater / auditorium in Hightstown, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a theater / auditorium.

The HVAC system for the Auditorium is located on the roof of the corridors just outside the Auditorium itself. It is comprised of four (4) +/- 3,000lb roof top units with exterior duct work that are going to be removed and replaced with new energy efficient units with new, longer, and acoustically lined ductwork. To accommodate the new ductwork, the existing masonry wall openings will need to be enlarged and new loose lintels installed. After the wall modifications, all walls will need to be painted, and new wall diffusers installed. The new units will need to be flashed into the roof in accordance with the existing Siplast warranty. Bids will be rendered in accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-4. Drawings and specifications shall be available for inspection at the Architect's Office from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Thursday and 8:00 am to 12:00 pm Friday. Any questions or requests for clarifications shall be submitted in writing to the Architect's office no later than February 18th, by 12:00pm. The Owner and Architect have determined that only DPMC Trade Classifications listed below are deemed eligible to bid this project. C009 General Construction / Alterations & Additions Each bidder must deposit with their Bid, a security in the amount of not less than 10% of the Bid, but in no case to exceed $20,000, in the form of a certified check or standard bid bond and subject to the conditions provided in Section B: "Instructions to Bidders". Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of Chapter 127, P.L. 1975 (NJAC 17:27 Public Contracts Affirmative Action Statute) as amended from time to time, Prevailing Wage Law (NJSA 34:11-56.25 et seq.-NJAC 12:60), the American with Disabilities Act, UGG 200.326, and with any and all New Jersey Statutes not specified herein. All contractors are subject to background checks. Refer to Section B Instructions to Bidders for additional information. THE EAST WINDSOR REGIONAL SCHOOLS DISTRICT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REJECT ANY NON RESPONSIVE BID OR ALL BIDS PURSUANT TO N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-22. OR TO WAIVE ANY MINOR INFORMALITIES IN ANY BID OR TO AWARD A LUMP SUM CONTRACT, IN SUCH A MANNER AS SHALL BE, IN THE JUDGMENT OF THE BOARD OF EDUCATION, TO THE LOWEST RESPONSIVE AND RESPONSIBLE BIDDER, ALL IN CONFORMITY WITH THE LAW.
