Renovation of a municipal facility in Hightstown, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade municipal facility.
The Work consists of, but not limited to: replacement of the existing air handling unit to include new steel dunnage and associated work. Bidders must hold a DPMC Trade Classification of C032 HVACR. Each bidder must include with their bid a security amounting to at least 10% of the bid, but no more than $20,000, as either a certified check or standard bid bond. Bidders must comply with Chapter 127, P.L. 1975 (NJAC 17:27 Public Contracts Affirmative Action Statute), Prevailing Wage Law (NJSA 34:11-56.25 et seq.-NJAC 12:60), the Americans with Disabilities Act, UGG 200.326, and all applicable New Jersey Statutes. Business registration and use tax requirements of N.J.S.A. 52:32-44 must be met, and all contractors are subject to background checks. Refer to Section B - Instructions to Bidders for additional information on security, eligibility, compliance requirements, and other conditions for submitting a bid. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any non-responsive or all bids or waive minor informalities. Awards may be made as a lump sum contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
