Renovation of an educational facility in Seattle, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Description of Work: The Work includes, but is not limited to: In-kind replacement of existing walk-in cooler with associated structural work and mechanical and electrical equipment. Architect/Engineer's Cost Opinion: $138,816 Bid Bond: Certified check, bank cashiers check, or bid bond is required with each Bid (only if the bid exceeds $150,000), equal to 5% of the total Base Bid. Make checks payable to the Renton School District; furnish bond executed by a licensed bonding agency authorized to do business in the locality of the project. Prevailing Wage: It is the responsibility of the bidder to go online to the L&I web page. to verify they have the most current prevailing wages at time of bid. Apprenticeship Requirement: This Project is not estimated to cost one million dollars or more. If "is" is selected, then this Project is subject to the apprenticeship requirements of RCW 39.04.320. Bidders may contact the Department of Labor & Industries, Apprenticeship Section, to obtain information on available apprenticeship programs. Right to Reject: The Owner reserves the right to accept the lowest or any other Bid, the right to reject any or all Bids, and the right to waive any irregularities in any Bid.
