The deadline for questions has been moved to February 14, 2025 This work will include the following: * Roadway Design along Swan Mountain Road (CR 1) between Sapphire Point and Colorado State Highway 9. This section of roadway is approximately 2.5 miles long. * Geometric, pavement structure, stormwater runoff, design speed, and attached recreational path design will be expected. * Drainage along the downhill shoulder will need to be designed to maintain shoulder stability for a minimum 25-year design event * Inspect existing culverts for capacity and lifespan. * Intersection safety design where Swan Mountain Road meets Colorado State Highway 9 including recreational pathway connection. * Guardrail design * Approximately 8000LF of guardrail is along the downhill side of Swan Mountain Road in this section. * Evaluate roadway for the sufficient level of guardrail. * Slope Stability along a 300LF section of roadway * Shale Slope continually sheds rock. * SUE Plan at the Raw Water Intake near Colorado State Highway 9 Intersection For additional information or bid submission, please contact Alice Gustafson, Project Engineer at alice.gustafson@summitcountyco.gov or (970) 668-4203 or online.
