**ADMENDMENT 0003** The RFQ has been admended to change the method of solicitation from "Invitation for Bid" to "Request for Quote" **ADMENDMENT 0001** The soliciatition has been admended to update the Instructions to Replace Switchgear. The site visit date was updated to March 04, 2025. NCIC forms must be submitted by March 03, 2025 by 9:00a.m. EST. Final questions should be submitted by March 21, 2025 by 9:00a.m. EST. Replace Medium Voltage Switchgear at FCC Butner The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) has issued solicitation 15B10625Q00000010 for the award of a firm fixed-price construction contract entitled Replace Medium Voltage Switchgear at Federal Correctional Institution II (FCI II) at FCC Butner. FCC Butner is a federal correctional facility located at Old NC Highway 75, Butner, NC, 27509. The switchgear to be replaced are located at the FCI II. The project consists of furnishing all equipment, materials and labor for the complete construction of the work. The Statement of Work/Specifications attachment included with the solicitation posting will provide complete requirements for the project The performance period for the project will be 624 calendar days from issuance of the notice to proceed. The NAICS code for this requirement is 238210 with a corresponding small business size standard of $19.0 million. The optional site visit will be on March 4, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. EST. (NOTE: This range is one of 8 available ranges from FAR 36.204 and is not meant to imply that the project has necessarily been estimated/budgeted to the maximum of the selected range. It merely conveys that the estimate/budget lies somewhere within that range.) The solicitation will be distributed solely through www.SAM.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be made available. The website provides download instructions. Any secure/locked documents (if applicable) uploaded with the solicitation will require an active SAM vendor registration for access.
