This package includes the construction of a one-story, non-enclosed, Pre-Engineered building with reinforced masonry walls and electrical components. This package also includes additional concrete pads that are located outside of the building area. This package will be operating on an expedited schedule. The approximate building footprint is 580 square meters. This prequalification is looking for subcontractors to prequalify for the following scopes: The Dwyer Hill Training Centre (DHTC) was acquired by DND in 1992 to serve a unit of the Canadian Special Operations Forces Command (CANSOFCOM). CANSOFCOM is a high-readiness organization, able to deploy special operations forces on short notice to protect Canadians from threats at home and abroad. The mandate and size of CANSOFCOM and its subordinate units has grown significantly over the years, and while projects have been completed at DHTC to support growth in personnel as well as new equipment and capabilities, the infrastructure at the site is undersized, in varying states of disrepair or is no longer suited to the current use. The project site is divided legally into three parcels which are located east of Dwyer Hill Road and separated by Franktown Road. The two north parcels have an approximate area of 46 hectares, while the south parcel is primarily undeveloped and consists of approximately 37 hectares.
