Reference Number 0000286785 Question Acceptance Deadline 2025/02/11 11:59:00 PM EST The Innes Road TP Measures project consists of widening Innes Road, in each direction, from Blair Road to the BHB, to allow for the addition of shared transit and high occupancy vehicle (HOV) lanes. The plan also includes the construction of a new four (4) metre wide multi-use pathway (MUP) on the north side of Innes Road from Blair Road to Old Innes Road. Land will need to be acquired from the NCC along the north side of Innes Road for the construction of the new MUP. To accommodate the widening of Innes Road and the construction of the new MUP, assessments and designs of existing structures and new structures will be required to allow for the crossing of Greens Creek and Mud Creek. New signalization will be required at existing and new intersections and significant utility relocations will need to be completed along the roadway. The localized widening of the intersection of the BHB and Navan Road is also included to allow for transit priority at this location. Included in this project is a new multi-use pathway from the BCB/Navan intersection to Cleroux Crescent. As a part of this assignment, the proponent will need to secure a third party to conduct a Road Safety Audit of the proposed road widening project. The proponent shall identify ultimate right-of-way requirements and work with the City's Real State Office (CREO) and Legal department to acquire the necessary land from the NCC including the securing of the necessary Federal Land Use, Design and Transaction Approval (FLUDTA). The proponent shall also consult with Planning Services, adjacent landowners and developers to coordinate designs of entrances and intersections along Innes Road.
