The Village is requesting bids for procurement and installation of split-rail fencing to replace the existing fence line along SW 148 Street which identifies the northern perimeter of CRP located at 7895 SW 152 Street, Palmetto Bay, Florida 33157. To be considered, all interested Parties must request copies of the bid documents and submit one (1) original, one (1) copy of the required information and documents, and a flash drive containing a copy of the entire original submission in one (1) sealed package clearly marked with the bid titled Coral Reef Park - Split-Rail Fencing. CRP is an amazing fifty-two (52) acres of green open spaces and recreational amenities encompassed by split-rail perimeter fencing. SW 148 th Street, the park's northern boundary, incorporates such split-rail fencing along the property line which has deteriorated to the point that replacement is necessary. A bid guaranty in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid must accompany each bid in accordance with the Invitation to Bid (ITB). The respondent shall bear all costs associated with the preparation and submission of the response to the bid. The bid documents may be obtained on or after Tuesday, February 4, 2025. Question Deadline 02/18/2025 at 3:00 PM ET Via Email to abencomo@palmettobayfl.gov Procurement and installation of a replacement split-rail fencing: o Estimated linear footage of fence line is approximately one thousand three hundred-sixty (1360) feet; however, bidders are responsible to confirm exact linear footage in which to compute respective pricing proffered. o Optional pricing is requested, specifically the fencing material in wood as per Exhibit "B" 'Wood Fence Detail', and secondly all posts and rails to be a composite material. Note: Vinyl/PVC will not be acceptable and/or considered. Proposers must fully identify/describe in detail the composite fencing offered. o Existing split-rail fencing along SW 148 th Street shall be removed and disposed of properly at the bidder's expense. o Following installation of the new fencing, any remaining holes or unlevel areas must be properly filled and graded. All rocks and/or debris as a result of installation must be raked up and disposed, specifically around newly installed fence posts. o The required permits must be obtained by the successful Bidder at his/her expense and is responsible for the scheduling of all necessary inspections. o The successful Bidder shall be responsible for any and all damage to park amenities or injured park patrons as a result of the bidder's negligence. The successful Bidder shall provide barricades and signage as may be necessary to properly safeguard park patrons and/or citizenry. o Upon completion and final inspection approval, the successful Bidder shall submit an invoice for payment. o In addition to required licensing and insurance, the successful Bidder shall have a Palmetto Bay Business Tax License. o Pricing for Optional post caps for wooden posts is requested and may be considered as a part of subsequent Purchase Order six-inch (6") x six-inch (6") plastic, aluminum or galvanized with powder coating may be offered; including installation. o The successful Bidder shall include a minimum one-year warranty labor.
