Town of Upton (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Fiske Avenue Road Reconstruction. The Project includes the following Work: Work includes, but is not limited to 2,350 feet of full-depth roadway reconstruction, installation of granite curbing, new cement concrete sidewalks on one side of Fiske Avenue with ADA-compliant wheelchair ramps, pedestrian enhancements, minor improvements to the drainage system, new traffic signs, pavement markings, and other incidental items included in the Contract documents The intent is to perform all work in full compliance with the MassDOT 2024 Standard Specifications for Highways and Bridges, the Supplemental Specifications contained in this book, the 2017 Construction Standard Details, the Traffic Management Plans and Detail Drawings, MassDOT Work Zone Safety Temporary Traffic Control, Standard Drawings for Signs and Supports; Overhead Signal Structure and Foundation Standard Drawings, the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) with Massachusetts Amendments; the Standard Drawings for Traffic Signals and Highway Lighting: The American Standard for Nursery Stock, unless otherwise amended by the Plans and Special Provisions Owner anticipates that the Project's total bid price will be approximately $1,600,000 Each Bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid.
