Site work and paving for a road / highway in Tecumseh, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The City of Tecumseh seeks bids from qualified contractors to mill and resurface asphalt for several city streets, which shall be bid as one project. The City is looking for a lump sum bid for milling and paving Westhaven Subdivision, Southwestern Drive, North Occidental Road (north of Brown Street), Nokomis Street, Wing Court, Curtis Court, Seminole Drive, Cairns Street, Osage Lane, Huron Street, and Meadow View Drive. The City Department of Public Works will complete the site preparation and structure adjustment (if necessary). QUESTIONS AND CLARIFICATIONS: Questions regarding this bid may be addressed to Troy Rohrbach, DPW Superintendent, at 517-423-1443 or 517-605-2233 during normal business hours, 7:00 a.m. through 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Questions regarding this Invitation to Bid will be received until 12:00 Noon on Friday, March 7, 2025. No work shall begin before June 1, 2025 and all work shall be completed no later than October 1, 2025. The City of Tecumseh shall issue a Notice to Proceed upon receipt of necessary documents and certificates of insurance. The City of Tecumseh reserves the right to accept any bid, to reject any and all bids, to negotiate construction costs, and to award a bid that is in the best interest of the City of Tecumseh.
