The City is seeking a qualified cost estimating consultant to assist the City in the preparation of cost estimates for the TMWRF Dewatering Building Project in the vicinity of the Truckee Meadows Water Reclamation Facility (Washoe County Nevada-APN: 021-020-02) of the Reno/Sparks area in Washoe County, Nevada. The concepts and drawings for a new dewatering building have been prepared by Jacobs Engineering Group (Jacobs), in concert with PCL Construction (PCL) as the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) for the project. The design has progressed to the 30% milestone and will continue with 60%, 90%, and 100% milestones. The pre-design report and associated plans are provided for reference. The independent cost estimator is to possess comprehensive experience in Federally funded and/or Clean Water State Revolving Loan Fund projects, municipal wastewater facility project cost estimating, wastewater treatment construction, Construction Manager At Risk (CMAR), and working with the CMAR and engineer for setting up a guaranteed maximum price (GMP). The City of Reno is currently accepting sealed submissions for a qualified professional consultant.
