The selected experienced and qualified biological consulting firm will be tasked to provide construction phase biological support for the Palo Alto Tide Gate Structure Seismic Retrofit and Rehabilitation Project. Tasks will include but are not limited to: pre-construction surveys, worker awareness training, construction monitoring, regulatory permit compliance, and communication/coordination with project contractor. Other Details Minimum Qualifications: The following qualifications are the minimum required qualifications that a Proposer must meet for a proposal to be considered responsive: o The Proposer or Proposer's employees shall have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in biological sciences and related resources management activities, in Santa Clara County. o The Proposer or Proposer's employees shall have a minimum of two (2) years of experience conducting surveys for common and special-status plants and animals found in the Baylands habitats in Santa Clara County. o The Proposer or Proposer's employees shall have the following certifications, licenses, or affiliations: a) ISA Certified Arborist o The Proposer shall possess knowledge of regulations and codes regarding biological sciences and shall be familiar with local conditions relating to common and special-status plants and animals found in Baylands habitats in Santa Clara County. Interviews Tentatively Scheduled for the week of April 15, 2025, through April 22, 2025.
