Completion Date: Sept. 26, 2025 Pre-Qualification: Yes PROJECT: The major work includes the reconstruction and signalization of W Verona Avenue & Legion Street and the installation of a rectangular rapid flashing beacon system and curb ramp reconstruction at W Verona Avenue & Westlawn Avenue. These projects will be bid as one package with one bid total. The projects include installation of traffic signal equipment, pavement patching, traffic control, pavement marking, signing, street terrace restoration, erosion control, and all appurtenant work. The work consists of the following items: Approximately 155 linear feet of culvert pipe corrugated polyethylene 15 Inch Storm sewer pipe, 166 linear feet of Storm Sewer Reinforced Concrete, 2 manholes 4-ft diameter, 912 square yards of removing asphaltic surface, 1,508 cubic yards of common excavation, 2,068 tons of base aggregate dense, 4,820 square feet of concrete sidewalk 5-Inch, 750 square feet of concrete sidewalk 7-Inch, 190 square yards of concrete driveway 7-Inch, 597 linear feet of concrete curb and gutter, 529 tons of HMA pavement 4 MT 58-28 S, 1,038 linear feet of sawing pavement, pavement markings, traffic signals at the intersection of W Verona Avenue & Legion Street, RRFB system at the intersection of W Verona Avenue & Westlawn Avenue and all appurtenant work. BID SECURITY: A bid bond or certified check, payable to the City of Verona, in the amount of not less than 5% or more than 10% of the Bid shall accompany each Bid as a guarantee that if the Bid is accepted, the bidder will execute the contract and furnish 100% performance and payment bonds within 15 days after notice of award of the contract by the City.
