**As of April 25, 2025 This project has been awarded to George Gildner,Inc, with the awarded amount of $160,957.95* Pepper Ridge Sidewalk - Route 66 Path Improvements. The proposed improvements include: 1. PCC Sidewalk removal and replacement along Danbury Drive near Pepper Ridge Elementary School. 2. Construction of a new shared-use path connecting Greenwood Avenue to S. Morris Drive adjacent to S. Veterans Parkway (Old Route 66). 3. The project includes all necessary removals, earthwork, erosion control, seeding and traffic control. A pre-bid meeting/site visit will not be held for this solicitation. It is highly suggested that interested parties view the project site and/or understand the requirements of the solicitation before submitting a response. The City of Bloomington reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive technicalities. Bid must be accompanied by a Bid guaranty which shall not be less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the Bid. Bid guaranty may be a cashier s check, money order, certified bank check, or a surety bond. All guaranties, except surety bonds, will be deposited and reimbursement checks and surety bonds will be issued to unsuccessful bidders following the bid award. The successful bidder will be required to provide Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount equal to 100% of the contract price, within ten (10) business days after the bid award.
