Pecos St, Federal Heights, CO 80260. Hyland Hills Park and Recreation District is seeking bids from qualified bridge manufacturers for the design, engineering, fabrication, and delivery of a steel Pedestrian Truss Type Bridge. The bridge will cross over Niver Creek in the Hyland Hills Disc Golf Course at Caminish Park. Bridge location is southwest of 88th Ave. and Pecos St., approx. 8801 N. Pecos St., Federal Heights, CO 80260. Length: 50' truss end to end. Width: 8' inside face of top chords. Design is to meet or exceed current standards and codes. Including City of Federal Heights Building Codes. Use will be by pedestrians, bicycles and light maintenance Gators. No vehicles or pick up trucks will be allowed. Provide deck forms ready to receive concrete deck. The concrete deck will be by others. Provide horizontal safety railings with a 4" maximum opening. Provide pipe handrail, toe rail and cover angle. Provide shop drawings, signed and sealed by a Colorado registered P.E. Foundation design and installation will be by others. Include delivery of the assembled bridge to site. Unloading will be by bridge installer. Bridge installation Is not included in this RFP. Include an estimated lead time for fabrication and delivery of bridge. Hyland Hills is sales tax exempt.
