A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The Project includes but is not limited to: The supply and replacement of various HVAC components at the Adams Township Municipal Building, including but not limited to: all materials and labor required for compliance with the current version of the International Building Code and PA Uniform Construction Code, Complete flushing of the existing hot water heating system, all required demolition and patching, HVAC equipment and Variable Speed Drives (provide and install per requirements), complete new automatic temperature control system, piping systems, water analysis and treatment, refrigerant leak detection system, carbon monoxide and combustible gas detection systems, electrical work required to remove, install, and place in operation all new mechanical equipment (including conduit, wiring, switches, breakers and new phase loss/surge protection for all equipment), coordinate removal and placement of equipment on the second floor of building, ductwork, vibration isolation, supports, hangers and HVAC specialties, all required HVAC insulation work, piping identification labels per code, and all testing work required per code and manufacturer's instructions. All work must be substantially complete within 120 days and ready for final completion within 150 days. Each bid shall be made on the form provided in the contract documents and shall be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check or cashier's check in a sum equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount made payable to Adams Township furnished by a surety company authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Adams Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to award a contract in the best interest of Adams Township.
