Online Q&AYes Q&A Deadline 02/26/2025 3:00 PM (PST) Start/Delivery Date May 2025 License Requirements B, C46, or C-10 The City of Santa Barbara issues this Request for Proposals (RFP) to seek proposals from qualified contractors for a power purchase agreement that includes partial design, permitting, procurement, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of photovoltaic (PV) generation facilities coupled with building integrated battery energy storage systems (BESS) with the goal of achieving a Zero-Net Energy (ZNE) building standard for the City's new Police Station. This project shall begin construction shortly, with 100% Construction Documents (CD) completed, permits issued and a first day of construction soon to be announced. The City is seeking a 25-year PPA for solar PV production and BESS services. The selected proposer ("CONTRACTOR") will be responsible to provide ongoing operations, maintenance, and monitoring of equipment, including conducting any required operations, maintenance, warranty and repair work ("O&M") and PPA pricing shall reflect all O&M services. Anticipated Date of Award - May 2025.
