Notice to Bidders: Qualified bidders are invited to submit bids for Project as described in this Document according to the Instructions to Bidders. Project Description: Project consists of complete replacement of rooftop mechanical units, electrical work associated with mechanical unit replacement, removal and replacement of roof mounted gas piping, partial removal and full replacement of existing roof membrane, installation of new interior roof drains, and installation of metal wall panels in specific areas. Construction Contract: Bids will be received for the following Work: 1. General Contract (all trades). Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of [5] percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of [60] days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Successful bidder shall begin procuring materials on receipt of the Notice to Proceed (est. March 12, 2025) and shall complete the Work prior to January 1, 2026. Bidder shall submit with the bid form an estimated material procurement timeline along with an estimated construction timeline. Bidder shall be advised that all work shall be accomplished during non-school hours, weekends, and school holidays. At no point shall the existing mechanical, plumbing, and/or electrical system be removed or disabled while students and/or teachers are present within the building. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, a separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder.
