**As of April 29, 2025, project was awarded to BMCI Construction, awarded amount is $49,712.50. The improvements on which Proposals are requested will require the following approximate amounts: 4,750 SF Remove and Replace 5" Thick Concrete Sidewalk 300 SF Remove and Replace 7" Thick Concrete Sidewalk/Driveway Approach 50 LF Remove and Replace Concrete Curb and Gutter 50 LF Full Depth Concrete Sidewalk and Asphalt Pavement Saw Cut 2 EA Detectable Warning Plate Placement Approximately 85% of sidewalk replacement is due to tree roots The City of Cedarburg will review the qualifications of Bidders taking into consideration information contained in previous information submitted: the completed "Bidders Statement of Qualifications" form included in the Bid Documents, Contractor experience with similar jobs in other municipalities and previously completed projects with the City of Cedarburg. The City shall have sole discretion in evaluating Contractor Qualifications. Prevailing Wage rates determined by The Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development DO NOT apply to this Contract. Proposals must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or a cashier's check in an amount equal to 5% of the bid. The Contractor selected by the City must furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, in the amount of 100% of the bid, to guarantee satisfactory completion of the work. The City of Cedarburg reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informality in bidding. No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of proposals without the consent of the City of Cedarburg for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled opening date.
