Site work and paving for a road / highway in Cedarburg, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Project Consists of the Following Pavement Work: Milling and Overlaying Approximately 1,000 Square Yards of Deteriorated Asphalt Pavement Sections on Arbor Drive, Westlawn Avenue, and the Intersection of Hamilton Road and Hilbert Avenue. The Areas to Be Milled Shall Be Replaced With 2" Thick 4 Lt 58-28s Hot Mix Asphalt Placed in One Lift. Contractors Shall Pro-vide All Warning Signs and Traffic Control for the Construction. Bids Must Be Accompanied by a Bid Bond or Cashier's Check in an a-mount Equal to 5% of the Total Bid. The Contractor Selected by the City Must Furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, in the a-mount of 100% of the Bid, to Guarantee Satisfactory Completion of the Work. Prevailing Wage Rates Will Not Be in Effect. Contractors Shall Carry Workers Compensation Insurance Per Statutory Limits, Contractors General Liability Insurance and Automobile Insu-rance, Each With a Mini-mum Bodily Injury and Property Damage Cover-age of $1,000,000. The Bidder, to Whom a Con-tract is Awarded, Shall Submit the Appropriate Insurance Certificates to the City of Cedarburg. The City of Cedarburg Reserves the Right to Ac-cept or Reject Any or All Proposals and to Accept the Proposal Deemed Most Advantageous to the City. No Bid Shall Be Withdrawn for a Period of 30 Days After the Open-ing of the Bids Without Written Consent From the City.
