The Cedarburg School District seeks proposals from a qualified architect and food-equipment design firms to plan and oversee the renovation and expansion of the middle school cafeteria service line. The scope includes redesigning the food serving line, upgrading handwashing and bottle-filling stations, providing dual cashier lines, replacing back-wall cabinetry, painting/mural work, tile work, lighting, signage, TVs, and all new warming/serving equipment. Design lighting layout and signage placement. Coordinate structure for cabinetry, equipment, TVs, plumbing & electrical. Ensure ADA, fire, and local building code compliance Food Service Equipment Design Specify equipment per DPI-approved list or submit PI-6206 pre-approval for exempt items. Design flow for service, cashier lines, trays, waste, cleaning. Include handwashing stations, bottle-filling fountains, warming and serving equipment. Coordinate equipment procurement and installation oversight. Regulatory Compliance Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local codes. Incorporate best practices in food safety.
