The City of Cedarburg will review the qualifications of bidders based on previous information submitted, the completed 'Bidders Statement of Qualifications' form included in the bid documents, contractor experience with similar jobs in other municipalities, and previously completed projects with the City. The City shall have sole discretion in evaluating contractor qualifications. The qualifications of bidders shall be submitted with the contractor's bid. Bid security in the amount of not less than 5% nor more than 10% of the bid shall accompany each bid. The bidder to whom a contract is awarded shall furnish a performance bond and a payment bond, each in an amount equal to the contract price. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive informalities in bidding, or to accept the bid or bids, whichever best serve the interests of owner. No bid or any required bid security shall be withdrawn for a period of forty-five days after the opening of the bids without the consent of owner.
