Design, procurement, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of a solar photovoltaic (PV) system. Work includes: preparing a site map and panel array layout using in-person or drone-assisted methods; installing all necessary equipment such as solar module racking, combiner boxes, disconnect switches, overcurrent protection devices, meters, enclosures, conduit, wire, warning placards, and any other required equipment to ensure a code-compliant photovoltaic system; obtaining required permits and approvals from relevant authorities; completing paperwork for local incentives if applicable; administering the interconnection agreement with Cedarburg Light & Water; providing and installing a computer kiosk for in-library education about solar energy and this project; and providing a minimum five-year warranty on all labor, as well as transferring all manufacturers’ warranties. Bidders must submit sealed bids clearly marked with the RFP number and project title by the stated deadline. Proposals must include a cover letter, detailed technical proposal (design, equipment specifications, installation plan), financial proposal (itemized cost breakdown), and experience and qualifications (including references). The contract will be awarded based on technical merit, cost, experience, and proposed timeline. The Cedarburg Public Library Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject proposals not in the library's best interest. No change orders are permitted without full approval.
