Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Cedarburg, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The project consists of one prime contract and includes but is not limited to the following approximate major work items: 12,600 CY common excavation, bedrock excavation, 9,500 ton hot mix asphalt pavement, 15,750 ton 1 1/4" dense graded base course, 9,800 LF concrete curb and gutter remove and replace, 6,500 SF 5" concrete sidewalk remove and replace, 16,000 SF 7" concrete sidewalk/driveway remove and replace, 18 sanitary sewer manholes, 2,675 LF sanitary sewer, 400 LF watermain, 5 gate valves, 4 hydrant assemblies, 610 LF 1 1/2" water service, 250 LF 6" sanitary lateral, 675 LF 12" RCP storm sewer pipe with granular back, 150 LF 24" RCP storm sewer pipe with granular back, 5 each 48" storm manhole with casting, 36 each 24" x 36" catch basin with casting, 1 LS dust control, and 10,050 SY lawn restoration (hydro-seed). Subsurface investigation data has been compiled to establish bedrock depths and identify sub-soil classifications. The reports are available in the appendix of the contract documents. Bids shall be submitted using the electronic bid forms provided via QuestCDN.com. All blanks must be filled in for the bid to be accepted. Bid security in the amount of not less than 10% shall accompany each bid. The City of Cedarburg will review the qualifications of bidders, considering information contained in the "Bidders Statement of Qualifications" form, contractor experience with similar jobs, and previously completed projects with the City. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive informalities, or accept the bid or bids that best serve the owner's interests. The bidder awarded the contract shall furnish a performance bond and a payment bond, each equal to the contract price. No bid or required bid security shall be withdrawn for forty-five days after the opening of the bids without the owner's consent.
