Renovation of an educational facility in Festus, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The Festus R-VI School District is currently seeking proposals for the removaland replacement of approximately 3300 sq ft of VCT tile flooring in the Festus IntermediateSchool cafeteria. This project is a "turnkey" solution that will include the purchase of materialand labor for installation and configuration of said items to satisfy the needs and requirementsas outlined in the specifications of this RFP.Work is to be scheduled after June 23, 2025 and completed by August 10, 2025 Scope of Services:Demolition: Remove and dispose of approximately 3300 sq ft of existing VCT tile flooring. Remove approximately 240 linear feet of cove base. Remove any existing adhesive as needed.Construction: Prep floor as needed to install new flooring. Install new VCT flooring and cove base per owners specifications. Name of Firm.2. Firm address3. Firm telephone number.4. Firm federal tax identification number.5. Name, title, address, telephone number, fax number and email address ofcontact person authorized to contractually obligate the firm.Contents of Proposal SubmittalA brief statement of the Firm's understanding of the scope of the work to be performed;Provide an estimated schedule for completion. Describe the firm's workload and currentcapacity to accomplish the work by the proposed deadlines.Identify all subcontractors proposed for the project, their role and provide pertinent informationon each subcontractor related to this section.The Festus R-6 School District reserves the right to request any additional information toassure itself of a Firm's financial status.4. Professional References:Firm should: Provide professional references of previous projects as described.The Festus R-6 School District will determine which firm will be selected to enter into contractnegotiations. Questions should be addressed to Steve Copeland, Director of Maintenance, at copelandsteven@festusedu.com.Responses to the RFP should be delivered to Festus R-6 School District Central Office, locatedat: 1515 Mid-Meadow Ln., Festus, MO 63028 Certificate of Insurance:Each contractor must be able to provide a 'Certificate of Insurance.' If awarded the bid, thecontractor must submit a revised 'Certificate of Insurance' listing Festus R-VI as an 'additionalinsured.'Performance and Payment BondsUpon award of bid, Bidder shall be required to submit to the District proof of a PerformanceBond. Bond Company must be a U.S. Company with an A+ best rating and licensed in all 50states. Contractor will provide proof of the bonding company with their initial bid.PermitsThe vendor shall be responsible for securing any necessary city, county, state, and/or federalpermits prior to commencing work.Payment TermsThe Festus R-VI will make payment in full (100%) following the next board of education meetingafter the project is complete and accepted by authorized R-VI officials. If the contractor desiresother payment arrangements, please detail within bid.Deadline for Completion of Project: Pending awarding of the bid, the project must becompleted within the timelines established between the contractor and R-VI District.Vendors may have access to the facility during this time period at all times during the 24-hour dayas long as arrangements are made in advance with school officials and the facility is available.
