Work includes the use of District provided materials as well as that supplied by the Contractor. This project utilizes state and federal grant funds and specific requirements will apply to bid responses. The awarded contractor shall be registered or licensed as required by the laws of the State of Washington, including but not limited to RCW 39.06 and RCW 18.27. A five percent (5%) bid guarantee in form of a cashier's check, money order, or surety bond must be submitted with a bid. Failure to comply with any part of the solicitation instructions may result in rejection of the bid, quotation or proposal as non-responsive. The District reserves the right at its sole discretion to reject all bids, quotations or proposals received without penalty and not to issue a contract. Washington state prevailing wages are required to be paid for the work performed on this project and are subject to the higher of the prevailing state or federal wage rates (if applicable due to other federal funds are in the project). This project will utilize funds from federal award number CPFFN0145 (ARPA Capital), granted to the Washington State Broadband Office by the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Materials used by a contractor for this project must comply with Domestic Preferences for Procurements (2 CFR 200.322) for their bid to be considered responsive and responsible.
