Site Directions: Red Cliff WWTF is located approximately 1/2 mile north of Legendary Waters Resort & Casino in Red Cliff, WI, along Blueberry Road. Site Address: 88385 Pike Road City: Bayfield County: Bayfield State/Province: WI 1. Clear and grub the berm areas for three existing lagoon cells including stump removal and hauling debris off site for disposal. Complete grading, fertilizing, seeding, mulching and plant preparation mats for disturbed areas on the berm tops and outside slopes. 2. Remove municipal wastewater sludge from the bottom of lagoon Cells #2, #3 and #4. Dewater the sludge on site and transport and dispose of the dewatered sludge in a landfill. 3. After sludge removal, re-grade the bottom of 2 existing lagoon cells, install drain tile and install a complete membrane liner system including geotextile, air vents and HDPE liner. Install water transfer piping and valves, HDPE liner pipe penetrations and concrete splash pads. Abandon existing water transfer pipes and associated valves. 4. Install approximately 541-ft of 8" PVC gravity sewer main and two (2) manholes to convey diverted sewage from the WWTF influent to the lagoon cells. Modification to one (1) existing manhole is required. 5. Construct a new pre-packaged lift station near the lagoon cells including approximately 47-ft of 10" HDPE intake piping and screen, electrical power wiring, conduit and an electrical control system. 6. Install approximately 510-ft of 3" HDPE sewage force main to convey sewage from the lagoon cells to the WWTF influent. Connect the new force to an existing manhole. 7. After the completion of lagoon lining and lift station construction, abandon one existing lagoon cell by demolishing portions of the berms and grading the area for drainage. 8. Construct approximately 1038-ft of 12-ft wide gravel access road. 9. Modify existing site fencing and gates including removal, salvage and re-installation of existing chain link fencing and provide new field fencing and gates. Est.
