Construction of a new gas station and convenience store. Project includes a new 3,056 square foot building, which includes retail space, walk-in coolers, a staff work space, office, and public restrooms. The site includes covered gas and diesel islands and new underground fuel tanks. Lump sum bids will be received on a SINGLE PRIME CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR THE ENTIRE WORK. BID GUARANTEE: Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bid bond, Certified Check, Cashiers Check, Bank check or Money Order, (but not a personal check or company check), in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid price, payable to Red Cliff Band of Lake Superior Chippewa as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bonds within the time set by the Owner or the bid guarantee will be forfeited PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENT BONDS: 100% of contract price BEGIN CONTRACT PERFORMANCE: Upon tribal council approval COMPLETION DATE: As provided by Bidder and coordinated with the Owner.
