Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Bayfield, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the construction of a retail development; for site work for a retail development; service station / car wash facility; and service station / car wash facility.
Construction of a new gas station and convenience store. Project includes a new 3,056 square foot building, which includes retail space, walk-in coolers, a staff work space, office, and public restrooms. The site includes covered gas and diesel islands and new underground fuel tanks. Lump sum bids will be received on a SINGLE PRIME CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR THE ENTIRE WORK. BID GUARANTEE: Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bid bond, Certified Check, Cashiers Check, Bank check or Money Order, (but not a personal check or company check), in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid price, payable to Red Cliff Band of Lake Superior Chippewa as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bonds within the time set by the Owner or the bid guarantee will be forfeited PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENT BONDS: 100% of contract price BEGIN CONTRACT PERFORMANCE: Upon tribal council approval COMPLETION DATE: As provided by Bidder and coordinated with the Owner. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES: $500/day The Tribe reserves without limitation the right to reject any and all bids; the right to accept or reject any or all items in any proposal; and the right to accept or reject any or all incomplete, nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, obscure, or conditional bids, or bids which contain additions not called for, erasures, alterations, or irregularities of any kind, or which do not comply with the instructions to bidders set forth throughout the RFP. The lowest bidder may not be the successful bidder.
