TR 58B- Front St S & SE Bush St Improvements Please note, City Hall has limited mail processing. It is the responsibility of the Contractor to ensure that mailed bids are received by the submittal deadline The Work to be performed provides for the improvement of safety and pedestrian access at Front St S & SE Bush St. Work includes but is not limited to temporary erosion control, saw cutting, roadway excavation, Potholing, removal of pavement and sidewalk, installation of cement concrete sidewalk, curb and gutter, ADA compliant landings, pavement restoration, installation of stormwater drainage systems, property restoration, installation of Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon (RRFB) System, and signage and channelization. We reserve the right to waive any irregularities or informalities and to reject any or all bids and to award this Contract to a single bidder based on the lowest responsible bid for aggregate total of all schedules. Proposals shall be on forms included in the contract documents and shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond (with an authorized surety company as surety), made payable to the City of Issaquah, in an amount not less than 5% of the amount of the bid. No bidder may withdraw their bid after the time announced for the opening, or before the award and execution of the contract, unless the award is delayed for a period exceeding sixty-five (65) days. The City of Issaquah in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 USC 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, Nondiscrimination in Federally-Assisted Programs of the Department, of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement., disadvantaged business enterprises as defined at 49 CFR Part 26 will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex in consideration for an award.
