Renovation of a mixed-use development in Holland, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
West Ottawa Public Schools will accept sealed bids for the installation of approximately 1400 sq. ft of 4" Tuned Acoustical Panels as described in the attached specifications. Bid submissions shall be firm for ninety (90) days from the date of bid opening. West Ottawa Public Schools reserves the right to accept or reject all or any portion of a bid, and is not bound to accept the low bid. A bid may be rejected, if not accompanied by any data required by the Bidding Documents, or which is in any way incomplete or irregular. West Ottawa Public Schools shall have the right to waive informalities or irregularities in a bid received, and to accept a bid which, in the judgment of West Ottawa Public Schools, is in the best interests of West Ottawa Public Schools. Document ID: RFP-WOP-250000001676-1 Questions should be directed to Tom Swifney, Director of Buildings & Grounds, during the pre-bid meeting on March 12, 2025, at 11:00 AM at West Ottawa Performing Art Center (Main Entrance) located at 3685 Butternut. It is highly recommended that bidders attend this meeting with Mr. Swifney prior to submitting a bid as there are electrical conduits, lights, devices, etc. that might impact the installation. Attendance at the meeting will be part of the selection criteria used to select the contractor. The contractor shall examine the site where work is to occur to become familiarized with the conditions involved. Approved Tuned Acoustical Panels: - BAD panel by RPG - TAD panel by Kinetics Noise Control - RAD panel by Golterman & Sabo The District reserves the right to terminate the bid award and/or contract at any time due to the contractor's failure to comply with the terms of the specifications. The District will notify the contractor of termination thirty (30) days prior to any action being instituted. The contractor will be permitted a rebuttal during this period. Contractor shall submit a list of three (3) references complete with names, addresses, phone numbers and a contact person to allow the District to verify the bidder's ability to perform and meet the terms of this document. Contractors will need to provide their own equipment. Contractors shall list the names of any potential subcontractors. The awarded contract may not be assigned. The undersigned has familiarized themselves with the local conditions with the cost of the work by having examined the site conditions, and Bidding Documents prepared by West Ottawa Public Schools (1138 136 th Ave, Holland, MI, 49424), and hereby proposes to furnish all labor, materials, taxes, equipment, and services needed for the completion of the work category submitted.
