Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Waterville, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The project consists of pavement milling and resurfacing Cedar Lane, Waterville Fire Station, and Conrad Park Drive and parking areas; pavement reconstruction and drainage work for an alley; adding additional parking at Conrad Park; reconstruction of 11 catch basins; pavement markings and applying asphalt rejuvenating agent on various streets, alley, and at five park paths. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check, or bank cashiers check payable to the City in the amount of ten (10%) of the bid as a guarantee that if the work is awarded to the bidder, he will, within fifteen (15) days of the date of such award enter into a proper and acceptable contract, otherwise, said amount accompanying his bid will be forfeited to the City of Waterville, Ohio, as liquidation damages. Bids received after the scheduled Bid opening date and time, or not accompanied by a satisfactory Bid Bond or check, will neither be read nor considered. Bidders must comply with the Prevailing Wage Rates on Public Improvements in Lucas County, as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage and Hour Division, (614) 644-2239. Bidders shall submit with their Bid the affidavit required under Ohio Revised Code Section 5719.042 that the bidder was not charged with any delinquent personal property taxes in Lucas County, Ohio. (Contract Page AC-1) The successful bidder will be required to submit a Performance Bond, Maintenance Bond, Certificates of Insurance, and ORC Section 3517.13 Affidavit. The City of Waterville reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities in any bid, and to accept any bid which is deemed to be the most favorable to the City. The City also reserves the right to add or subtract from the quantities shown in the proposal.
