Renovation of a mixed-use development in Monroe, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Monroe County Intermediate School District (MCISD) is seeking bids to expand our existing Interior Wireless Door Access Controls solution. MCISD is seeking bids for 59 new wireless door access controls to install on our interior doors in the Administration and Professional Development buildings on campus. We are using Genetec Security Center for our Access Controls system, and we use HID iCLASS DP 37-bit cards (H10302) RF cards. Last year, we deployed thirteen (13) Assa Abloy APERIO IN100 (SG-LC-70-IN100- 10G77-BIPS-B-L-L-26D-RH) locks to pilot in our Administration building. In addition to these locks, we ordered Hubs (AH40IN2), Genetec license with 5 Year Advantage Support, and MEDECO HIG 33600006N26 KW P key cores. We would like to continue deploying the APERIO IN100 locks, if still available, but we may consider other online wireless door access controls/locks as long as they must integrate into Genetec Security Center and support double tap or another option to have ability to leave a door unlocked. 7 of the 59 doors on campus have a handle on the outside with a crash bar on the inside of the room while the remaining 52 doors have handles on both sides. See pictures below. 1 of the doors with a crash bar does have a handicap opener, as shown on the included map. Bids should also include the Genetec licensing and 3 years of support/maintenance for these new doors. It is the vendor's responsibility to review the doors, quote all the necessary equipment, cables. Bids shall be binding for sixty (60) days from bid opening and prices will be binding for the length of the contract. MCISD reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and bids, including that of the lowest bidder; or to accept bids either in whole or in part; to award contracts by individual items or by lump sum total; or to waive any informalities, defects or omissions in any bid, should it be deemed to be in the best interest of MCISD to do so.
