Scope of Work Includes Removing Existing Guardrail & Timber Posts, Filling in Existing Post Holes & Compacting, and Installing New Steel Post & Rail & End Treatments. Additional Work Includes New Delineators Every 500-ft & Clearing 5-feet Behind Existing Guardrail. Location - Southcoast Region, Petersburg Engineer's Estimate Range: Between $2,500,000 and $5,000,000 As of June 22, 2026, the project is in Conceptual status. Anticipated letting Date is November 2026. AKDOT - PSG Mitkof Highway MP 26-33 Guardrail Replacement *Project information has been obtained through a public state transportation improvement plan (STIP).
