The HICKORY NUT ANDNARIGON RUN ROAD DGLVR PROJECTS includes the labor, materials, and equipment necessary to construct rip rap lined ditches and install storm cross pipes along sections of Hickory Nut Road and Narigon Run Road. Proposals must be on the forms furnished by the Township Engineer. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) ofthe bid price, made payable to Independence Township. Contact Harshman CE Group, LLC at 724-503-4125with any questions. Independence Township reserves the right to reject any or all bid proposals or any portion thereof. Attention of Bidders is called to the requirements concerning the payment of not less than the prevailing wage and salary rate provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act 442 for the HICKORY NUT AND NARIGON RUN ROAD DGLVR PROJECTS. Awarded bidder shall provide 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond and 100% Maintenance Bond for the project. Liquidated damages will apply at the rate of $500.00 per calendar day. Bids may be held by Independence Township for a period not to exceed sixty(60) days from the date of bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding the contract.
