Site work and paving for a playground / park / athletic field in Avella, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for paving for a playground / park / athletic field.
The Park Phase Iii Development Project Includes the Labor, Materials, and Equipment Necessary to Install New Concrete Walkways, Tar and Chip Surfacing, Lights, Bleachers, Kitchen Facilities for Pavilion, and Electric Line Extensions. This Project is Subject to the Pa Separations Act of 1913 and is Separated Into Two (2) Prime Contracts for General Trades and Electrical, Which Cumulatively Include the Total Project Scope. Proposals Must Be on the Forms Furnished by the Township Engineer. The Bid Must Be Accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond in the Amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the Bid Price, Made Payable to Independence Township. Attention of Bidders is Called to the Requirements Concerning the Payment of Not Less Than the Prevailing Wage and Salary Rate Provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act 442 for the Park Phase Iii Development Project. Awarded Bidder Shall Provide 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond and 100% Maintenance Bond for the Project. Liquidated Damages Will Apply at the Rate of $500.00 Per Calendar Day. Bids May Be Held by Independence Township for a Period Not to Exceed Sixty (60) Days From the Date of Bid Opening for the Purpose of Reviewing the Bids and Investigating the Qualifications of Bidders, Prior to Awarding the Contract.
