Sealed proposals are requested for the following approximate totals: 47,000 gallons of CRS-2 (E3 Emulsified Asphalt & Modified), 3,300 tons of various bituminous material, 7,100 tons of various aggregates, 1,200 tons of anti-skid, 21,000 gallons of fuel, and 2,500 gallons of high sulfur heating oil. Aggregates and anti-skid must be submitted in sample bags with the bid proposal. All material must be PennDOT certified according to the most recent Publication #408. Certificate of Compliance CS4171 must accompany all shipments. The proposal must be on forms furnished by the Commission. All bids must be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid, payable to the Commission, who reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Non-collusion affidavits are required. All amounts are more or less.
