The Project includes the following Work: Project A- Jenniton Intersection o Rock Excavation Approximately 250 LF of 8" Ductile Iron Water Main and appurtenances o 300 tons of asphalt o 600 tons of dense graded base o 300 LF of curb and gutter o Turf Restoration Project B - Village Roadway Chip Sealing o Crack Filling Approximately 15,000 SY of Chip Sealing The anticipated substantial completion date is August 1, 2025 (Project B) and August 31, 2025 (Project A), and final com-pletion date is September 30, 2025. Projects do not overlap and can be awarded separately to different contrac-tors. No proposal will be accepted unless ac-companied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the Owner as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 45 days after the actual date of the open-ing thereof. The minimum wages to be paid on the project shall be in accordance with the wage rate scale established by local wage rates. Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
