Site work and paving for a road / highway in Yorklyn, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
A bid bond by acceptable surety or a certified check made payable to Jackson Township Board of Supervisors in the amount of 5% of the maximum bid must be provided by each bidder with their bid. The successful bidder, when awarded a contract, shall furnish Performance and Payment Bonds (with suitable surety), as specified in the Contract. The Jackson Township Board of Supervisors reserves the right to accept any bid or reject any or all bids. LOCATION OF WORK: Project No. 1 Orchard Road (Kopp Rd. to Woodland Dr.) (3,800 x 22) Project No. 2 Sunnyside Road (1,600x 19) Project No. 3 Wastewater Treatment Plant Driveway (750x 16) - off Hershey Rd. Contractor shall be responsible for temporary traffic control in accordance with PennDOT Publication 213. Township will not assist Contractor with temporary traffic control. Appropriate sections of the roadway may be closed to through traffic during work hours, but must be reopened at the end of each work day. Local traffic must be accommodated. Failure to complete work before August 15, 2025, will result in Liquidated Damages, which will be applied at a rate of $500.00 per calendar day
