This Purchase Order is for the maintenance and operation of water and wastewater systems at the Safety Rest Areas located throughout the PennDOT Engineering District-4 Counties. Statement of the Project. Maintenance and Operation of Water and Wastewater Systems at Safety Rest Areas. This procurement is set aside for bid and award to small businesses only. TERM OF CONTRACT: The initial term of the Contract shall be 1 year. The Contract may be mutually renewed for a maximum of 2 additional 2-year term(s). The anticipated start date of the contract shall be no earlier than April 1, 2025. EXTENSION OF CONTRACT TERM: The Commonwealth reserves the right, upon notice to the Contractor, to extend any single term of the Contract for up to three (3) months upon the same terms and conditions.
