Site work for a civil project in New Market, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Construction of two, new 500,000-gallon glass-lined bolted steel or welded steel potable water (ground level) storage tanks and approximately 560 linear feet of 16-inch ductile iron water main. Project is inclusive of associated site improvements, yard piping, stormwater improvements, grading, concrete, maintenance of traffic, erosion and sediment control, electrical, instrumentation, and associated appurtenances. Bids are requested for the following Contract: Water System Improvements Withdrawal of Bids The procedure for withdrawal of bids shall be according to Section 2.2-4330 of the Code of Virginia. Contract Award Contract is to be awarded on the basis of lowest responsive and responsible bid. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, and other information relevant to submittal a Bid for the Project, but all document uploads will be for informational purposes. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be issued through the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer shall be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than from the Issuing Office, as described below. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Ramboll Americas Engineering Solutions, Inc. 4435 Waterfront Drive Suite 304 Glen Allen, Virginia 23060 804-270-3515 Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Make deposit checks for Bidding Documents payable to "Ramboll AES Inc.". Bidding Documents may be purchased from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above. Upon Issuing Office's receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be sent via the prospective Bidder's delivery service. The shipping charge amount will depend on the shipping method chosen.
